Huntingdon County offers many event throughout the year for both local residence and visitors to our area. We love to come together as a community and celebrate many different occasions. Many of our events are annual events that happen every year, and sometimes a community member will sponsor a new event in the area. Everyone is always welcome at all of our public events. Mayfest is the only festival held in historic downtown Huntingdon. Craft and food vendors will be set up with live music in the park. Rain or Shine -- Event Open 9am - 5pm Free Parking. Free Admission.

July 18, 2026 The 56th Swigart Car Show is Saturday July 18, 2026

The public is welcome to come to the car show, and stay all day if desired. If you have a collector car please conside registering your car. The show is open to all automobiles, trucks, and motorcycles.

Hartslog Day is a charming autumn festival hosted in the historic town of Alexandria, PA by the Hartslog Heritage Museum. Join them for a day of arts, crafts, entertainment, food, fun, and friends! 8am-4pm

Oct. 18, 2025 Swigart Museum

All are invited to join them for their Annual Trunk -or- Treat at the Swigart Museum on Saturday October 18, 2025 from 9am-11am! Taking place during the Raystown Kruisers weekly Kars & Koffee, they are very kind for always being happy to participate in this event by handing out candy and some even decorating their vehicles! We can’t thank them enough! Bring your children to see the cars and fill up their bags with candy. This is a free event in our parking lot.
During the Trunk-or-Treat, Tours of the museum will be available- Adults will get $2 off admission when they bring a child(s) to tour the museum during the event. All children will get free admission to the museum. Come join us for some great family fun for Cars and Candy Costumes and Vehicle Decorating is strongly encouraged!
